Briana Hudson captured Deep Run's first ever Track and Field State Championship title as she tied the Virginia State AAA high jump meet record with a personal best 5' 9" jump in her first attempt at the height.

Ashley Orr (LJ), Brianna Hudson (HJ), and Courtlin LaReau (1000M and 1600M) each captured Colonial District Titles in leading the Deep Run girls to a dominant team victory in the Championship meet.
Kirk Fischer (HJ), Matthew Armentrout (PV), and the 4x800M relay team turned in championship performances as the Wildcat boys team finished 3rd.

Home Meet vs. Freeman and Atlee Results
Wednesday, September 27th, the Deep Run Cross Country teams competed at home against Atlee and Douglas Freeman. Both teams were defeated by Freeman but beat Atlee. Courtlin LaReau won the girls race with a time of 19:30 followed by Erin Bragg in 3rd place at 19:44 and Jennifer Harrell in 10th place at 21:06. The boys team was lead by Drew Spicer who also won with a time of 16:29. Booth Hornsby finished soon after in 4th place at 17:09.
