Liberty Christmas Invitational, CNU Winter Frolic and St. Christopher's 6-way; Great Facilities put Wildcats off to a great first half of the season

The program has already had a great deal of positive performance from veterans and newcomers in the first three meets of the season. The Wildcats have traveled to some of the fastest tracks in the state in pursuit of qualifying marks for regional and state competition. In each of these meets the program has found several of these marks, guaranteeing success in the post-season.

Newcomers Andrew Brown, Samantha Drapac, Julia Drapac, Caroline Turner, Courtney Dobbs, Erica Dobbs, and Jay'vonne Bowman have had immediate contributions with regional qualifying performances and relay utility. State Qualifying marks have been hit by Matthew Armentrout, Ashley Orr, Briana Hudson, Jay'vonne Bowman, Joanna Hassell, and Marlena Daly.

The Wildcats have 3 more chances to up the ante on their competitors before the post-season. On January 18 and 19 they will make the trip to Liberty University for the Asics Invitational on the fast, wide turned track at the Tolsma center. On January 25 and 26 they will contend with 50 other schools at the fast Benyon surface St. Christopher's track. The regular season concludes with a the Green Dragon Last Chance meet and the Elite Mid-Atlantic Clash.
